Fren is the best neighbor! She was my Visiting teacher for many years. I loved seeing her every month without fail. I loved her lin.k a mom. She was born the same year as my mom so I adopted her as mine.( My mom died in 82). Will miss her. Glad she is at peace with loved ones.

We met Fern only once, but we know the impact she had on many, many people, both family and friends, and we can see her influence carrying on for years to come. It feels as if she is the last of the generation of mothers who were happy to give their whole souls to the calling and we know that love will continue be part of the next stage of her life.
