Steven John Cook

Steven John Cook, 57, passed away September 21, 2017 at the Franklin County Medical Center in Preston, Idaho.  He was born May 29, 1960, in Ogden, Utah the son of John William and Joyce Marie Lindhardt Cook.  He married Vonna Archibald on July 2, 1982 in Banida, Idaho.  Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan Temple on July 2, 2011. 

 

He loved the mountains, dirt biking and music.  He also loved animals and he collected Hot Wheels cars.  He enjoyed NASCAR and was an Oakland Raiders fan.  He loved gardening and taking care of his immaculate yard.  He was a perfectionist.  He was an awesome uncle and his nieces and nephews loved him very much.

 

He is survived by his wife, Vonna, of Preston; his three dogs, Lorenzo, Lizzy and Jazmin; by two sisters and one brother, Lisa Marie Cook of Nibley, Utah; Brian David (Roxanne) Cook of Hurricane, Utah; and Jennifer (David) Lowe of Salt Lake City, Utah.  He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Allison Hymas. 

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Preston North Stake Center, 310 N. State, Preston with Bishop Steven Westerberg conducting.  Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 S. 800 E., Preston, and Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the stake center.  Interment will be in the Downey, Idaho Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
