Steven Allen Byington

January 19, 1942 — April 27, 2017

Steven Allen Byington

Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle passed away on April 27, 2017. Steven was born in Preston, Idaho to George and Leona Byington. He had 3 brothers Leslie, Ronald, and Russell, and 2 sisters Rosella, and Nedra.

Steven married Hannah Williamson on June 16, 1962, and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on August 15, 1972. They had three children Darlene (Mike) Landolfi of Tooele, Utah,  Maryann (Richard) Webb of Ogden, Utah, and Steve Jr. (Brittiny) of Clinton, Utah,  8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Dad worked for the Salt Lake County Landfill for 28 years, driving numerous types of heavy equipment. He loved to go fishing, camping, chasing the shade in his lawn chair, making wooden airplanes and building other handy Knick Knacks, driving to Idaho to check on the family property, and going to different coffee shops to drink his morning "MUD" and eat the occasional biscuits and gravy. Survived by his wife Hannah. Proceeded in death by his Father George, Mother Leona, brothers Ronald and Russell, and sister Rosella.  We love him dearly, and will miss his laugh and jokes. Until we meet again!
