Shane Elwin Sagers

Shane Elwin Sagers, 45, of Richmond Utah passed away on Sunday August 11th, 2024. Shane returned to our father in heaven after a 5-year battle with cancer. Shane was born and raised in Beaver, UT and graduated from Beaver High School. After serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints he attended and graduated from Southern Utah University with a master’s degree in accounting. 

Shane and Marilee Sagers were married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 15, 2001, and together they have three children, Trevan (20), Tatum (17), and Taylie (13). He is survived by his wife and children, parents Elwin & Jody Sagers, brothers Shad (Kendra) Sagers and Steven Sagers, and sister Sharee (Les) Atkin. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 17th, 2024, at 11am at the Richmond Stake Center located at 135 West Main St., Richmond, UT. Viewings will be held from 6-8pm Friday evening and 9:00-10:30am Saturday morning at the Richmond Stake Center.
