Richmond, Utah Ryan L. DunkleyRichmond - Ryan Larry Dunkley, 29, our son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on Friday, May 23, 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born in Logan, Utah on July 22, 1978 to Larry L. and Susan Cartwright Dunkley. He will be best remembered for his caring and loving attitude toward those who knew him. Ryan is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was active in the Boy Scout program and received his Eagle Scout award. He was also a member of the Richmond Singles Ward. At the time of his death, Ryan was serving as ward clerk. He graduated from Sky View High School and LDS Seminary. Ryan received an honorable release from the Dallas, Texas Mission. Prior to his mission Ryan worked for West Motor in Preston, Idaho. He will always remember Dennis, Gordon, Jason, and Larry for their love and support.After returning from his mission Ryan worked for Lawson and Yeates in Logan, Utah and then returned to West Motor. In 2000 Ryan started employment with Christensen Construction, now Geneva Rock. Ryan worked for Geneva Rock up to the time of his death. Special thanks go to Bret and Kim Christensen for believing in Ryan. Ryan was a member of operating Engineers local No. 3. Ryan loved his niece Shantell very much. He loved the time they spent together. He enjoyed hunting upland game birds, and his love for motorcycles occupied his spare time. Ryan we LOVE you so much and you will be missed greatly!Ryan is survived by his parents Larry and Susan Dunkley, of Richmond, UT; a sister, Angie Spackman, of Richmond, UT; and his niece Shantell Spackman, of Richmond. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Barbara Cartwright, and Parley and Ruby Dunkley. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in the Richmond City Creek Ward Chapel, 150 South 100 East in Richmond, with Bishop Lyle Allen conducting. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the church and Wednesday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. also at the church. Interment will be in the Richmond Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Webb Funeral Home in Preston.
