Robert Wayne Jepperson

Robert Wayne Jepperson, 69, passed away on April 15, 2017 at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Pocatello, Idaho.  He was born September 23, 1946 in Ogden, Utah the son of Steven Rasmus Jepperson and Evelyn Laura George. 

Bob grew up in Bear River City, Utah.  He served two tours in the US Marine Corps during Viet Nam.  In 1968, he married Dorene Cheney and had four boys.  They later divorced.  In 1985, he married Penny Neyman and they were later divorced.  During his life, he served as Chief of Police in Salmon, Idaho and later as a log truck driver.  He loved hunting, fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his four sons, Kevin (Brenda) Jepperson; Richard (Amanda) Jepperson; Justin (Tara) Jepperson, Daren (Christy) Jepperson; by his grandchildren, Jordan W.,Whitlee, Hailee, Jacelyn, Corly, Devony, Jackson, Cassidy, Logan, Jordan, Mykenna (Bryce) Whiting, Rylee, Ashlyn, Darian and Tierstyn; and by a brother, Steven Lynn Jepperson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, by a granddaughter, Jaymee Jepperson, and by a sister, Marilyn Hansen.

Graveside dedication services and military rites will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at noon at the Preston Idaho Cemetery.  Friends may call Thursday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
