PRESTON, IDAHO REVA MERRILLPRESTON- Reva Mae Anderson Merrill, 82, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at her home in Preston. She was born June 29, 1925, in Bear River City, Utah, the daughter of Alvin Ernest and Mary Smith Anderson. She married the love of her life, Wayne W. Merrill, on June 24, 1948, in Bear River City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. They enjoyed 59 years together.She was a violinist and played in a trio consisting of the violin, cello, and piano. She taught school in the Preston School District for 29 years. She was a member of the Literary Club. She loved traveling with her family, crocheting, cooking and gardening. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints having served in various callings.She is survived by her husband, Wayne, of Preston; two sons and a daughter, Richard W. (Marieta) Merrill of Salt Lake City, Utah; David L. Merrill of Salt Lake City, Utah; Maryann Bakke of Orem, Utah; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and by a sister, Audriene (Harvey) Braeggar of Willard, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, by three brothers, and one granddaughter.Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 3, 2008, at 12 noon in the Preston Third Ward Chapel, 155 N. 2nd W., Preston, with Bishop Leonard Ward conducting. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the Preston 3rd Ward building and Monday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. also at the church. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
