Rebecca “Becky” Jean (Tucker) Saxton

Rebecca “Becky” Jean Saxton passed away peacefully at her home on September 5, 2026, surrounded by her husband and family.

Becky was born on November 5, 1957, in Murray, Utah, to Lois and Clyde Tucker. She attended Granger High School and later Granite Alternative. It was at Granite Alternative that she met the love of her life and lifelong partner, Kyle Dean Saxton. Once they met, they were inseparable. They married on February 26, 1976, and began building a life together filled with family, adventure, and love.

Kyle and Becky raised their three children primarily in Kearns, Utah, with a brief time spent living in West Valley City. After their children were grown, they sold their home and embraced a new chapter, purchasing a trailer home. They lived in West Valley City for several years before relocating their home to Preston, Idaho, in 2009, where they continued to enjoy life together.

Becky loved the outdoors and spent countless days camping, hunting, and fishing alongside Kyle and their children. She was also a gifted seamstress and enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crocheting. She made clothing for her children, blankets for every grandchild, and quilts for many nieces, nephews, and their children. Over the years, she worked in sewing factories, including sewing clothing for Enuff and other manufacturers. She also worked from home creating gaiters, Nintendo bags, fishing rod bags, and countless other items.

Becky dearly loved her nieces and nephews. They loved her right back and many of them affectionately knew her as “Aunt Grouch.”

Family was at the center of everything Becky did. She enthusiastically supported her children in all their sporting activities and dedicated many years to volunteering at Kearns American Little League and Kearns Babe Ruth League. She ran the snack bars, served countless hamburgers, hot dogs, and nachos, and became especially known for her famous “BurgerDogs” and teriyaki chicken sandwiches. She also spent many hours keeping score for both leagues.

If you ever received the “finger bird” from Becky, you knew you were loved.

The family would like to give special thanks to everyone who helped care for Becky, especially Dr. Lance Hansen and the staff at Franklin County Medical Center. They were deeply appreciated and loved.

Becky is survived by the love of her life and devoted husband, Kyle Dean Saxton; her children, Wendy Keller, Shanna Dyer, and Kyle James Saxton; her grandchildren, Kylie (Cam) Loertscher, Kaylynn (Daniel) Hakizimana, Max (Sky) Young, Brooklyn Dyer, Isabel (Jeremy) Blunt, James Saxton, Darrien Bertola Saxton, Brianna Pierce Saxton, Cain Saxton, and Jaiden (Saxton) Rockstead; and her great-grandchildren, Dean Saxton and Eva Loertscher. She is also survived by her dear childhood friend, Evie Mendenhall.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Lois Tucker; her brother, Timothy Tucker; her sister, Claudia Owens; her mother-in-law, Martha Jean (Saxton) Renner; her sister-in-law, Teresa Saxton; her brother-in-law, Alan Saxton; her nephew, Chris Johnson; and her grandson, Braxton (Saxton) Rockstead.

In keeping with Becky's wishes, no formal funeral services will be held.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at First Dam in Logan, Utah. Additional details will be shared on Facebook, or friends and family may contact Shanna or Kyle for more information.

Though her stitches, quilts, laughter, generosity, and unmistakable sense of humor will remain with us forever, it is the love she shared with her family and friends that will be her greatest legacy. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
