Rebecca "Becky" Sue Kranek

Rebecca “Becky” Sue Kranek was born November 28, 1946 in Lakeland, Florida to Clarence and Envielese Jordan Walker.  Rebecca spent her youth in sunny Lakeland until briefly attending Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho.  After attending college, she returned to Lakeland and lived there until 1994 when she moved to Utah to be near her son and grandkids.  She eventually settled in the Preston, Idaho area and spent her final days in Preston.

Becky loved to read and write and dreamed of publishing books one day.  She was happiest when she was able to spend time with her grandkids and had several cats throughout her lifetime to keep her company. 

She is preceded in death by her parents and by a son, Toby Walker Kranek.  She is survived by her brother, Thomas Walker; her daughter-in-law, Cindi Kranek and by her two grandchildren, Daniel & Kendra Kranek.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Winder Ward LDS Church in Winder, Idaho.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho to help cover funeral expenses.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
