Phyllis was a faithful member of the DUP for 50 years. She also worked at and was a familiar face at the Preston Library for 40 years.
After Carl died in 1995, Phyllis continued to serve faithfully in the community and church until the end despite many health challenges.

She is also survived by a sister Lela (Lyle) Johnson, of Evanston, WY and well as many in-laws and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of almost 40 years Carl, a brother Brent, Sister MaryAnn and daughter-in-law Vicki.
