Paul M Hollingsworth

Paul M Hollingsworth died December 25, 2025, in Layton, Utah. He was born February 29, 1932, in Preston, Idaho. He received his BS degree from Brigham Young University, 1953, and his MA and EdD degrees from Arizona State University, 1961,1964. He served in the U.S. Navy from April,1953 to April,1961 and received an Honorable Discharge.

He leaves behind his wife Kathleen Mattson Hollingsworth, whom he married in 1979, and children Debra H. Salls, P. Kendal Hollingsworth, Janae H. Maher, David E. Hollingsworth, Adam M. Hollingsworth, and Julia H. Jones; 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and his sister, Renee H. Elder. He was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen Black Hollingsworth, whom he married in 1955, and by grandson A. Beau Hollingsworth, parents A. Earl Hollingsworth and Blanche M. Hollingsworth, sister Phyllis H. Bergquist and brother Howard E. Hollingsworth.

He lived a wonderful life serving others academically and through many religious callings. He was very fond of his large family.
