Patsy Muriel Humpherys Rallison (Pat) was born in Montpelier Idaho to David C Humpherys and Murita Ellen Keetch on January 26th 1942. She gained her “Angel Wings” on July 7th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the youngest of seven children. Her childhood and teenage years were spent in Dingle Idaho. She attended Montpelier High School.
Her friend set her up on a blind date. It was on that date that she met her eternal companion Herbert Samuel Rallison. They were married on August 7th, 1959 in Dingle, Idaho. Their union was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. As a young couple they lived in Dutch John, where Sam worked on the Flaming Gorge Dam. It was during that time that they had their first child, their daughter Rhonda. 3 years later Sam Junior made his appearance, followed 8 years later by their bonus baby, son M Wade Rallison.
During their marriage they lived in Dingle Idaho and Drummond Montana before settling on the Rallison family farm in Whitney Idaho.
Pat’s life was one of compassion and service. She diligently cared for her husband of 63 years during his battle with thyroid cancer and dementia. Tenderly seeing to his every need until his passing in 2023. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and would often comment on her favorite calling, that of Cub Scout leader. It was obvious that she loved “her boys”, and they loved her right back. Going through some of her personal items we found notes from “her boys” sent while they were serving their missions.
Mom was a hard worker, whether helping on the family farm, working seasonal work at Del Monte, pelting mink to make extra Christmas money or during her 22 years working at Pepperidge Farms, she always gave it her all. She loved to crochet. Each of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are the proud owners of an afghan made just for them by “Grandma Pat”.
Pat was proceeded in death by her husband, Herbert Samuel Rallison, her son M. Wade Rallison, her sisters Flora, Donna May, Ruth, Barbara and her brothers Roy and Wayne.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Bickford (North Logan, Utah), son Sam Rallison Jr. (Jerome, Idaho) Daughter in Law, Julie Rallison ( North Ogden, Utah), brother and sister in law, Gary and JoAnn Rallison (Murray, Utah), her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews all of whom she loved dearly.
The family would like to thank all who have reached out with tender thoughts, actions, visits and kind words. A special thanks to the staff at Blacksmith’s Fork Assisted Living, the nursing staff and assistants at Logan Regional Hospital, IHC Hospice and all of the wonderful ward members of her “Home” ward, Whitney Idaho.
