Pamela "Pam" Wilson Rich

 

Pamela Wilson Rich, 81, passed away on June 2, 2023 in St. George, Utah. She was born October 30, 1941 in Logan, Utah to Royal Guy and Reva Whittle Wilson. She worked for the telephone company in Salt Lake City, Utah from 1959-1963 where she met her soon to be husband, the brother of her roommates Lyle Clark Rich. They were married on July 6, 1963 and were later sealed in the Logan Utah Temple on May 17, 1965.

Pamela and Lyle lived in Morgan Utah for two years before returning to her childhood home and dairy farm in Fairview Idaho where they spent the next forty years. She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints holding several positions in the primary, young women, Sunday school, library and relief society. She loved doing handiwork and taught many people how to crochet and do needlepoint. She also loved toll painting and calligraphy.

She was active in the community serving as the co-president of the Franklin County Farm Bureau. She was a member of The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers for 40 years serving as historian and captain. She worked in a dress shop in Preston Idaho for ten years helping women in the community to look their best.

Pamela and Lyle moved to St. George, Utah in November 2006. She is survived by her husband Lyle, children, Kirk (Cheryl) of Orem, Utah, Todd (April) of Anacortes, WA., Malinda (Justin) Allen of Fairview, Idaho as well as 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Brent (Marjorie) Wilson of Richmond, Virginia, Randon (Gayle) Wilson of Midway, Utah, Kim (Gail) Wilson of Salt Lake City, Utah and a sister Michelle (Lynn) Hunt, of St. George, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The Family will be celebrating her life in a private service on Monday, June 26, 2023. Interment will be in the Logan, Utah Cemetery.
