Celebrating the Life of Nancy Joyce Ismond Noble
Nancy Joyce Ismond Noble returned to her heavenly home on August 13, 2025. Born on July 14, 1948, to Nancy Jean Johnson and Dorian Ismond, she grew up with a heart full of kindness and had a deep love for the gospel.
On August 28, 1968, Joyce married Keith Kelly Noble, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Their marriage of nearly 57 years was filled with faith, devotion and love. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised eight children—Christine Rapoza, Stanley (Noreen), Stephanie (Stef), James (Christy), David (Leann), Daniel, Andrea (Mike), and Amanda (Christopher). Joyce’s greatest joy came from being a mother and grandmother. She adored her 24 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Joyce’s life was anchored in her love of the gospel and for Jesus Christ. She served faithfully in many callings, offering her time and talents. Her faith was her constant guide, and she considered Jesus her dearest friend.
She expressed her love through her hands, quilting beautiful creations that wrapped family and friends in warmth. Each quilt stitched with care and given from the heart. She also enjoyed and found peace in being in her garden. She loved harvesting and preserving the fruits of her labor.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband, children, and grandchildren, her sisters Joan Hammond (Jerry), Jane Condray (Norm), and her brothers, Robert Coad and Frank Coad (Lisa).
She is reunited in heaven with her parents, Nancy Jean Jonson and Dorian Ismond, sister Linda Murdock, and brother Mike Coad.
Joyce’s life was one of quiet strength and unwavering faith. She leaves behind a legacy of service, creativity, and devotion that will continue to bless generations to come.
