She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Christensen; parents, Milton and Marie (Hill) Owen, of Preston; her sister, Elizabeth (Owen) Anderton; and her brothers, Lyle Owen and Richard Owen, and son-in-law Jason Hall.
Jeanette's journey was marked by her dedication to education and hard work. She graduated from Preston Senior High School in 1955 and continued her studies at Steven's Henager School of Business in 1956. Her career was defined by her sharp mind and work ethic. She excelled in various roles within the diesel and automotive parts field in the Salt Lake Valley before returning to Preston to work at Gunnell Auto Parts. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to take ownership of the Smithfield location in 1981, turning Smithfield Auto Parts into a successful venture until her retirement in 2000.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jeanette found joy in serving her community. She was deeply involved in her church, serving as a Music Director, Primary Teacher, and Cub Scout Leader contributing her talents to various roles. Together with her late husband, Don, they embarked on three missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, sharing their love and dedication wherever they went.
