Marsha Haines

Mrs. Marsha Jordan Haines passed away peacefully in North Logan, UT on January 10, 2018 at the age of 72.

Marsha is survived by her mother Gwen (Elwell) Jordan of N. Logan; her husband, James S. Haines of N. Logan; her 7 children: Teri Gottlob (Roger) of Idaho Falls, ID; Tracy Furse (Jeff) of Layton, UT; Brad Haines (Marci) of Glendale, AZ; Lori Hanegan (Michael) of Rocklin, CA; Tammy Brady (Aaron) of Chanhassen, MN; James C. Haines (Michelle) of Spokane Valley, WA; David Haines (Brenda) of Fair Oaks Ranch, TX; 26 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and her sister Linda Stephenson (Steve) of Cleveland, TN.  Marsha was preceded in death by her father, Nathan Tanner Jordan.

Marsha was born on Jan. 20,1945 in Preston, ID to Nathan and Gwen (Elwell) Jordan.  She graduated from Clairemont High School (San Diego, CA) in 1963.  She married her sweetheart, James S. Haines, in the Los Angeles LDS Temple on Oct. 31, 1964.  The couple welcomed 7 children into their home.  Marsha was an active member of the LDS Church.  She served as: Young Women President, Primary President, a member of the Relief Society presidency, along with many other service callings.

Funeral services are planned for Monday, January 15, 2018 at 11:00am at the Green Canyon Ward Chapel, 2540 N 400 East,  North Logan, UT 84341.  A viewing will be held before the funeral services from 9:30am-10:30am at the same location.  All are invited to attend.
