Marilyn Rawlings

Marilyn Rawlings returned to her Heavenly Father on July 23, 2018 at the Franklin County Nursing Home. She was born May 4, 1951, in Logan, Utah to Glen Sorensen and Mabel Rogers Rawlings.  She grew up in Fairview, Idaho and was the 3rd of 5 children.  She attended school in Preston and graduated from Preston High School. She also attended one year at Idaho State University. She loved to be in the kitchen and loved to cook for her family.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, by her grandparents, Henry H. Rawlings & Theresa Sorensen Rawlings and Nephi Noah Rogers and Charlotte Amelia Van Orden Rogers; and by a brother, Ronald Glen Rawlings.  Marilyn is survived by her siblings, Dwight (Brenda) Rawlings of Montrose, Colorado; Ken (Denice) Rawlings of Arimo, Idaho; and Deann (Richard) Avery of Sunset, Utah.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.   Marilyn always had a loving heart and enjoyed being with her family.  She will be missed by her family and friends.  The family would like to thank the staff at the Franklin County Transitional Care Center for their loving care of Marilyn.

 

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in the Fairview Idaho Cemetery.  Friends may call Saturday from 10-11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
