Mardene Hall

Mardene Hall, 91, passed away on June 13, 2015 at the Heritage Home in Preston, Idaho.  She was born Sept. 12, 1923 in Fairview, Idaho the daughter of Thomas John and Harriet Matilda Bodily Hall. 

She enjoyed sports- playing softball, biking and walking.  She loved gardening and traveling with her family and friends.  She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints her whole life.  She enjoyed all family activities and playing with and tending three generations of nieces and nephews.  She also loved word search puzzles.

She is survived by four generations of nieces and nephews of her eight siblings that she loved very much.  She spent  most of her life on the family farm living next door to her brother, Dennis (Mildred) and their four daughters:  Diane (Jeff) Hyde of Fairview, Idaho; JoAnn (Ken) Clegg of West Valley City, Utah; Linda (David) Baird of Fruit Heights, Utah and Julie (Travis) Mitchell of Idaho Falls, Idaho.  She was preceded in death by her parents, by six brothers:  Grant, Dennis, Byron, Herman, Hershal (Joe), and Dallas Hall and by three sisters, Dorothy H. Gilbert, Oneta H. Hyde and Verna H. Knudsen.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fairview First Ward Chapel with Bishop Kip Rawlings conducting.  Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
