Lillie Jo Means

Lillie Jo Schuber Means, 89, passed away Sept. 23, 2016 at the Franklin County Medical Center in Preston, Idaho.  She was born Nov. 3, 1926 in Okeene, Oklahoma the daughter of John Koch and Lydia Schuber Brickman.  She married Lavene Raymond Means on Dec. 22, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Utah Temple.

 

She enjoyed sewing and housekeeping.  She loved to cook and bake.  She was always experimenting with different recipes.  She loved being with her family and friends.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints having served faithfully as a visiting teacher.

 

She is survived by a son, Kenny Means of Dayton, Idaho; a daughter, Claudine Messana of Moorpark, California; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a brother, Donald (Carolyn) Brickman of Austin, Texas; and by two sisters, Shirley (Keith) Mohagen of Fullerton, California and Carol (Ed) Wright of Texas.  She was preceded in death by her husband, by a brother, Charles Brickman, and by two sisters, Rosalie Tice and Betty Lou Brickman.

 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Dayton Ward Chapel with Bishop Wesley Beutler conducting.  Friends may call Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment will be in the Dayton Cemetery.
