Kurt Michael Heiner, 46, of Sacramento, California, passed away in Sacramento on January 3, 2024. He was born July 30, 1977, in Sacramento, California. Kurt was a beloved brother, survived by Brenda Heiner Wilbur, David James Heiner, Kent Anthony Heiner, and Alicia Heiner Sutton and an additional 7 nephews and 3 nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, James Dee Heiner, and his mother, Gloria Gay Heiner.


Kurt attended Sierra Oaks Elementary and Arden Middle School and graduated from Rio Americano High School in Sacramento. Kurt attended California State University Sacramento, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.


Kurt had a deep connection to his faith and was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was proud to have served a religious mission in Guatemala. Kurt found solace and strength in his religious community.

Kurt was passionate about music, was gifted in music and enjoyed playing the piano. He had a love for athletics and greatly enjoyed running and swimming as his favorite activities.

A memorial service to honor Kurt's life will be held in the Sacramento chapel where he attended, and a burial service will take place in Richmond, Utah, where he will be laid to rest.
