Kay Stevens Reed

Kay Stevens Reed, 89, passed away on June 7, 2025, in Logan, Utah. She was born on Sept. 2, 1935, in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada to Owen Ray Stevens and Thelma Kate Smith Stevens.

She married Francis David Reed on July 25, 1957, Cardston Alberta Canada Temple. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings. She served alongside her husband as a den mother.

She had the opportunity to perform with the Relief Society Chorus in 1971 in the Salt Lake Tabernacle for General Conference. She was very proud of this accomplishment.

She is survived by four children, David (Carrie) Reed of Morgan, Utah; Judy (Bill) Ogden of Trenton, Utah; Cameron (Merridee) Reed of Logan, Utah; Cassie (Joseph) Walker of Millcreek, Utah; by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis David Reed; by her oldest child, Jennifer Reed; and by a daughter-in-law, Tracy Reed.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 11 a.m. in the Trenton Ward Chapel, 400 West 1200 North, Trenton, Utah. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Trenton Utah Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at webbmortuary.com
