Katrina Rawlins

Katrina Rawlins, 54, our loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt passed away after fighting her battle with colon cancer on Friday, February 22, 2019 at her home in Cove, Utah. She was born on May 12, 1964 in Granger, Utah to Darryl and RoLaine Richards Reynolds. She married Alwin Rawlins on March 1, 1986 in the Logan LDS Temple.

Katrina loved to help others in all aspects of their lives. It never mattered what time of day or night it was, she just wanted to help any way she could and would never turn anyone away that needed her help. She loved spending time with her family doing anything with her husband, kids, grandkids (chickadees), sisters, nieces nephews and her dad. It didn't matter what they were doing, just as long as they were together. She always had a smile for everyone around here and she loved hugs, right up to the end. She had the most Christ-like love for everyone around her, she didn't even have to know you to love you with her whole heart.

She was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and cousin whose passing will leave a gaping hole in our hearts. We feel blessed and take much needed comfort in knowing she is with our loving Heavenly Father, our brother Jesus Christ and our family who have already passed on. She will always be with us, in our minds and hearts.

"Till We Meet Again."

She is survived by her husband and other half Alwin Rawlins, of Cove; her children Nicholas (Amanda) Rawlins, of Nephi, UT; Anastasia (Kirk) Chaney of Preston, ID; Serena Rawlins, of Nephi, UT; Wyatt Rawlins, of Preston, ID; and Zachary Rawlins, of Cove, UT. She is also survived by her grandkids (her chickadees) Kirk Chaney Jr. Alexandria Chaney, Kira Rawlins, Alwin "DJ" Rawlins,  and Diesel "Slade" Rawlins, her father Darryl Reynolds, of Spanish Fork, UT; her sisters Cynthia McCoy, of Orem, UT; Teresa Wood, of Orem, UT; Sonya Coombs, of Goshen, UT; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son Jesse Slade Rawlins, and her mother RoLaine Reynolds.

The family would like to thank the CNS team, a cousin Marty Higham, Katrina's nurse Erin for taking such great care of her through her last weeks with her family and the High Creek Ward Relief Society for their compassionate service.
