Kathleen Ann Evans

Kathleen Ann Lauder Evans, 62, passed away on January 13, 2018 at her home in Preston, Idaho.  She was born November 21, 1955 in Royal Oak, Michigan the daughter of Don Custer Lauder Jr. and Patricia Ann Hill Lauder.  She married John Owen Evans on August 8, 1986 in the Los Angeles Temple.

 

She was part of the Vista High School band in San Diego, California.  She loved her grandchildren and her granddaughters were everything to her.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed serving in the Nursery.  She always wanted to be around friends and family.  She was the best with little kids and teaching. 

 

She dropped everything in her life when Jared was born to take care of him.  She worked as an aide at AJ Winters Elementary School in Montpelier for sixteen years. 

 

She is survived by her husband, John Evans of Preston; her son, Jared (Kayla) Evans of Preston; her two granddaughters, Salem & Leisel Evans of Preston; by two sisters, Pamela Gail (Todd) Ehlers  of Pasco, Washington; Elizabeth Jean (Rick) Gorman  of Menifee, California; by a brother, Douglass Scott (Suzanne) Lauder of North Carolina; and by her father, Don Custer Lauder of Banning, California.  She was preceded in death by her mother.

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11 am in the Preston South Stake Center, 55 E. 1st S, Preston, Idaho.  Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho and Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the stake center.  Interment will be in the Montpelier, Idaho Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
