Joyce W. Stevens Sant

Joyce W. Stevens Sant, 77, passed away November 12, 2023, at the Franklin County Transitional Care Center in Preston, Idaho.  She was born May 26, 1946, in Suffern, New York, the daughter of John Woodrow & Dorothy Mildred Price Stevens.  She grew up in Bell Gardens, California.  She enjoyed playing the clarinet in the band.  He loved playing softball and surfing. She was a avid Yankees fan.

She married John Francis Sant on November 3, 1990, in the Logan Utah Temple.  She worked 20 years as a custodian for the Church FM Group.  She enjoyed visiting with people and loved everybody.  She would take anyone into her home.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed serving as a ward greeter.  She loved being with her grandchildren- she always wanted to be called “Grandma”.

She is survived by her three sons, Bruce O’Brien of Clifton, Idaho; Patrick O’Brien of Chubbuck, Idaho; Michael (Michelle) Sant of Clifton, Idaho; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  She is preceded in death by her husband, John Francis Sant, by her parents and by a sister, Karen Monroe.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the Clifton Second Ward Chapel, 170 West 100 North, Clifton, Idaho.  Viewings will be held on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho and Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment will be in the Clifton Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at webbmortuary.com
