She was born 10-25-1948 in Soda Springs, Idaho to Earl and Glenna Bartschi. She grew up in the Bear Lake Valley where she loved riding her horse and visiting her many friends. After graduating from high school, she went to BYU in Provo where she received her teaching degree. Jeannie spent her life as a dedicated school teacher in Idaho and a short time in Nevada before retiring. She moved to Weston, Idaho after retirement where she spent her final years. Jeannie was a great mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all those who knew her. She was an avid animal lover and will be greatly missed by her two cats , Archie and Leo. Jeannie is survived by her two sons, Chad Brokens of Rigby, Idaho and Daniel Brokens of Weston, Idaho, brothers Don Bartschi of Sugar City, Idaho and Terrel Bartschi of Idaho Falls, Idaho, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
