Janae Larsen

Janae Evans Larsen, 76, beloved, mother, and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in her home surrounded by family and other loved ones.

She was born December 15, 1939 in Downey Idaho to Stanley Emmett Evans and Donna Carol Clegg Evans. Janae graduated from Preston High School in 1958, and followed up her high school career by attending the LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah. She loved accounting, bookkeeping, and eventually made a career out of doing what she enjoyed.

In Janae’s early years, she enjoyed barrel racing. She always had a love for horses. She loved anything that had to do with horses whether it was riding, or simply just watching them. She loved watching football every Sunday night and always cheered on her favorite team, the Denver Broncos. Janae loved taking care of her yard, and doing whatever it took to build the home she loved. Above all, she loved spending time with her only daughter Carole, as well as her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her only daughter Carole (Dave) Boettner; her brother Don Ray (LaRene) Evans; her sisters Joene (Don) Martin, BernaDee (Paul) Reid, and Vicki (Judd) Coon; and her five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her parents Stanley Emmett Evans, Donna Carol Clegg, and her brother Emmett C. Evans.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the Preston Elks Lodge, 1229 North 800 East in Preston.  A viewing will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 pm at Webb Funeral home in Preston, Idaho, and on Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 am at the Preston Idaho Elks Lodge.
