Ivan Harold Henderson

Ivan Harold Henderson, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on March 6, 2018 after a courageous battle with Alzheimers.

He was born August 10, 1933 at Clifton, Idaho to Samuel Parley Henderson and Sara Ann Olive Tracy Henderson.  He married Dixie McCombs on September 10, 1956 in the Salt Lake Temple.  They have four children:  Randy (Michelle), Sandra, Timothy (Leona), Kristina, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren who he dearly loved. 

His greatest source of happiness and pride were his wife, children and grandchildren.  He worked at Dugway Proving Grounds for 28 years.  He loved hiking up a mountain stream with a fishing pole in his hand.  He was a great handyman and could build, fix or repair almost anything.  He did much service throughout his life with this talent.  He and his wife served two LDS missions to Australia and Maryland after his retirement. 

He looked forward to his reunion with his parents, infant son, six siblings and their spouses.  We would like to thank our friends and neighbors for their love and support with a special thanks to our angel Colleen Jenkins, his Hospice nurse.  We will always love you Colleen.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home in Preston, Idaho. A viewing will be held Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. also at the funeral home.
