G. Bruce Larson passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025 at the age of 87. Bruce was born on April 7, 1938 to Glenn A. and Bernice Thompson Larson in Weston, Idaho.
Bruce learned to play the violin and had a love of cars. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Australia. After his mission he started working at Parson Ready Mix company in Preston and attended Utah State University majoring in automotive and diesel technology.
Bruce married Elaine Christensen in the Logan Utah temple on November 20, 1967. Bruce and Elaine built their home in Preston and had 5 children. Bruce bought some cows and worked his farm until he sold the cows in 2024. Bruce and Elaine loved serving in the Logan temple for 8 years.
Bruce loved riding his motorcycle and enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He drove the school bus for over 40 years and loved the children that rode his bus.
Bruce is survived by his wife Elaine, children Teri (Tom) Gilbert, AZ, Camille (Dave) Granbury, TX, Leanne, Preston ID, David (Xiaofan) Honolulu, HI, Kandis (Josh) Polson, MT, 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren and siblings DeAnn (Larry) Acor Idaho Falls, ID, Cregg (Wilma) Larson Riverton, UT; LaRee Larson Grace, ID. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Kirt, and 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 12:00pm in the Preston East Stake Center, 310 N State Street Preston, ID. Viewings will be held Friday, Dec 19, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 S. 800 E., Preston and Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the stake center. Memories and condolences may be shared at webbmortuary.com. Interment will be at the Preston Cemetery.
