Florence Davis

Florence Waddoups Davis, 79, passed away Sept. 14, 2016 at the State Veterans Home in Pocatello. Idaho.  She was born Oct. 28, 1936 in Preston, Idaho the daughter of William Waddoups and Cora Burrup.  She married Charles Ray Davis on Nov. 1, 1956 in the Logan Utah Temple.

She loved crocheting.  She enjoyed reading books.  She has lived at the State Veterans Home in Pocatello since 2007 where she enjoyed many activities and friends.

She is survived by five sons and three daughters, Bruce Davis of American Falls, Idaho; Grant William (Rosemary) Davis of Pocatello; Gary Davis of Franklin, Idaho; Larry Davis of Shoshone, Idaho; Karen (Jeff) Breininger of Evanston, Wyoming; Gloria (Les) Soland of Friday Harbour, Washington; Lyman (Jamie Lyn) Davis of Richmond, Utah; Barbara (Mike) Bartholomew of Preston; 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Wayne (Evelyn) Waddoups of Malad, Idaho and Jed (Zella) Waddoups of West Valley City, Utah.  She was preceded in death by her husband, by a granddaughter, Chantrel Davis, by a great-grandson, Cory Davis, by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Sept. 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Webb Funeral Home Chapel, 1005 South 8th East, Preston, Idaho.  Friends may call Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment will be in the Dayton, Idaho Cemetery.
