Fernando Andrade Lara

In solemn remembrance of Fernando Andrade Lara, a beloved husband, devoted father, father-in-law, adored grandfather, uncle, and a dear friend to many, departed this life on February 15, 2024, at the age of 60. Fernando was born in the spring of 1963 in Guadalupe de Jalpa, Purisima del Rincon, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Francisco Cruz Lara and Guadalupe Andrade Flores, and was the 2nd of 7 children.

At the age of 16 in pursuit of a better life he moved to the United States, where he settled in Cache Valley, Utah. He became a dedicated and hardworking member of Ritewood Egg Inc., as a welder/jack of all trades. He remained employed there until his passing. In 1994, Fernando found immense joy and happiness when he was baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His commitment to serving in various callings and his unwavering dedication as a missionary reflected his profound love for the Lord.

Fernando's life was a testament to his deep compassion and inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love for the Lord resonated throughout his existence, but it was his unparalleled devotion to his family where it shined brightest. An embodiment of warmth, guidance, and unwavering support, Fernando's enduring love and selflessness have left an everlasting legacy for his children and all those who were fortunate enough to meet him.

He is survived by the love of his life Evelyn, and their eight children: Fernando Jr., Gerardo, Eric, Amy, Megan, Alisha, Brianna, and Jacob, as well as five cherished grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.

May the memories of his love, kindness and the echoes of his laughter bring comfort to all the lives he touched. As Fernando finds eternal peace with his Lord and Savior, let us gather to celebrate his life and legacy.
