Evan Mariner Campbell

Preston, Idaho Evan Mariner CampbellPreston - Our little boy's spirit left us on Friday, May 23, 2008. He passed away at home with his mom and dad right by his side. There seemed to be nothing we could do for him when he experienced a sudden respiratory event, except hold onto him and be with him and let him go. Baby Evan came into our lives on October 2, 2006. He was the baby brother to Hayes, Brigham, and Ellie who loved him so much and took such good care of him. They were all such good friends and would put their boots on to go feed the cows together. He loved to tag along with his dad and "help" do chores. He loved to play with his parents' cell phones and that last morning of his life, sat on his dad's lap turning on and off his dad's phone screaming and laughing in delight when the music would play. Evan was just learning to talk and his favorite thing to say was uh-huh. His brothers thought it was so funny to ask him question just to hear it. "Is your name Evan?" "Uh-huh." "Are you a baby?" "Uh-Huh." "Are you part of our family?" "Uh-huh." We feel like his life was nothing but joy, every single day. He had parents who loved him so much, he had two brothers and a sister to play with and torment, he was blessed with good health and he had a whole farm to explore. His life was such a blessing to him and to us. We are so thankful to be an eternal family. Goodnight my baby, until the morning comes.Evan is survived by his parents Craig and Suzie Campbell, and his siblings Hayes, Brigham, and Ellie Campbell, of Preston, ID; his grandparents Evan and Marion Campbell, of Hyde Park, UT; Lynn Howard of Preston; Bob and Rae Michaud, of Gilbert, AZ; great-grandparents Richard and Pat Michaud, and Rosalie Campbell of Logan, UT; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him and were a blessing in his life.Funeral services will be held Monday, May 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dayton LDS Chapel with Bishop Troy Moser conducting. Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 East Oneida, and Monday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the church in Dayton. Evans temporary resting place will be in the Dayton cemetery.
