PRESTON, IDAHOERIC HARTPRESTON- Eric Alan Hart, 65, passed from this life on Oct. 8, 2008. He died from cardiac arrest and had suffered from complications due to diabetes.He was born Oct. 12, 1943, in Preston, Idaho, to Halo M. and Marjory Forsgren Hart. He graduated in 1962 from Preston High School where he was active in the marching band, symphonic band, choir and thespian club. He also had a small jazz band during the 1960's and served in the Army National Guard.He married Joycelyn Hanson on May 17, 1968, and is survived by his wife and their three children: Jennifer Hart Dennis, Bryan Hart, and Natalie Hart. He is also survived by three sisters, Dana Roper, Trissa Fonnesbeck and Zenda Rawlings; by his mother, Marjory F. Hart Handley, and by six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and by a sister, Mardee Miller. Eric worked at Agrium in Soda Springs for 31 years where he was a manager of phosphoric acid operations. He had many talents and hobbies. He played the piano, tenor saxophone, alto saxophone and clarinet. He also delved into lapidary, leatherwork and model trains. He will be remembered as a devoted husband and father.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. in the Preston 10th Ward Chapel, 155 N. 2nd W., Preston, with Bishop Mike Andrus conducting. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston, and Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
