Elaine M. Larsen, peacefully departed this world on May 10, 2024, in Mink Creek, Idaho. She was surrounded by her loved ones.  Elaine was born on December 23, 1954, to Robert Lee Mikesell and Alice Rawlings Mikesell in Brawley California, where she attended and graduated from Brawley Union High School in 1973.  Elaine was the accompanist for Girls Choir and sang in the choir.  Elaine attended one year at Ricks College and a year at Utah State University.  Elaine worked as a civil servant at Hill Air force in Utah and at Egland Air Force base in Pensacola Florida.  She was also employed in the private sector doing many different office jobs. Elaine was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-ay Saints.  She served as Primary pianist, and also taught.   Elaine married her beloved third husband, R. Craig Larsen, on September 13, 2009, in a union filled with love. Elaine loved living in the country with Craig and felt that she was truly home.

Elaine is survived by her husband, R. Craig Larsen, who stood by her side through thick and thin. She is also survived by her loving brother, Larry Mikesell (Cherry Mikesell), and sister, Teresa Gentry (Bob Gentry). Elaine's memory will forever be cherished by her stepchildren: Kim Larsen (Amy Lee), Cheryl Cowgill (Mitch Cowgill), Robert Larsen, Janis Carver (Courtney Carver), and Dylan Larsen (Kirina Larsen). She was also a proud grandmother to seven rambunctious grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.

Elaine's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her contagious smile, and her boundless generosity. Elaine's legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and the memories she created.

Elaine found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved listening to music, finding comfort and inspiration in its melodies. Westerns held a special place in her heart, and she could often be found captivated by the stories they told.
