Eddie Lamar Price

Eddie Lamar Price, 80, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023, in Arco Idaho after enduring a short illness. Ed was born in Logan, Utah to Joseph Elton and Loraine Watson Price on April 16,1943.

Ed and his siblings (Clair, Ronald, Elton, Clain, Mary Ann, and Karen) spent their early life being raised and educated in Cache County, Utah

Ed married Judy Lee Hill on August 4, 1961, they lived in Cache County, Utah and Pocatello, Idaho. Ed and Judy had five children:  Melanie (Daymond), Eddie Dean, Kevin, Rodney (Karen), Laura.  Ed and Judy were later divorced. Ed married Bonnie Gail Maxie on April 8, 1972; they lived in Havre, Montana, Pocatello and Arco, Idaho. Eddie and Bonnie had two children Jason (Robyn) and Dietra. He was also the proud father of Edie Woodward Stevenson and godfather to Kristin Price Bigelow.

Ed enjoyed the outdoors. He especially loved being with his wife Bonnie and family while boating, camping, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was an energetic father, husband, and uncle who could get many to smile when he and Bonnie sang and played the guitar at family gatherings.

Eddie was an accomplished residential and building carpenter.  He worked for several years at PRICECO, Inc. with his two brothers Clair, Clain and several nephews, helping construct building projects on schools, churches, university campus buildings, and hospitals across the Utah, Idaho, and Montana regions.  His skills far exceeded most journeyman labor's.  He could plumb and level commercial projects without modern day technology and could calculate concrete and gravel amounts easily in his head.  He was known for his speed, accuracy, and attention to detail when running his crews.  After retirement, Ed established a hobby cabinet business where he and his brother, Clain, built custom furniture for the hotel industry.  His expertise will be missed.

Eddie is survived by his siblings, Ronald W. Price and Karen Fairbanks, seven children, 19 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie; by a son, Kevin Price and by three brothers and two sisters.
