David Campi Sparks

David Campi Sparks, 50, passed away on April 28th, 2026, at his family home after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Campi was born December 11th, 1975, in Logan Utah, the son of Nelda Marlene Jensen and David Mick Sparks, the middle child between his two sisters, Shandalin and Danea.

From his childhood into his adult life, you could find Campi playing any sport that had a ball. He loved anything from the baseball team his dad coached, to the football he played at Sky View High School. He was a lifelong Raiders fan, even though they were never able to bring him a modern superbowl.

Campi was a hard worker, spending many hours at Nucor, with one of his biggest focuses in life being able to provide for his family. In 2003 he married Nichole and created a family with three children: Ryle, Ryker, Brynley, and eventually a grandfather to Aurora.

Campi loved going camping, spending time outdoors fishing, and gathering around the campfire with his family and two German Shepherds. Along with the outdoors, Campi was able to travel and see many places with his family all across the country. From spending time on the beaches of San Francisco, to fishing on the piers of Folly Beach, he made sure his children saw it all.

Campi was the life of the party. From his quick wit to the “slightly” inappropriate jokes, he made sure that all of those around him were smiling. He loved bringing people together to share his love of sports, often hosting UFC and NFL parties. If you ever met Campi you were instantly one of his friends.

His friends and family will always remember him for keeping the mood light, supporting them in their times of need, and his unforgettable humor. From Campi to all who knew him, “Keep your pimp hand strong.”

Campi is preceded in death by his mother, Nelda Marlene Jensen.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 5-8 p.m. at the Clarkston Church House, 25 E 100 S, Clarkston, Utah. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at webbmortuary.com
