David Ralph Crosland

David Ralph Crosland returned to his Heavenly Father and loving parents on February 26, 2024. He was born to Helen and Ralph Crosland in Moroni, Utah. He was sealed to the love of his life, Sandra Barnes Crosland, in the Manti temple on October 8, 1971. He is survived by his wife Sandra, his children Jason (April), Laron (Miquelle), Karalee (Chris), Jonathan (Stacy), Carl (Kailei), Davis (Ashley), Dalin (Megan), Karen (Nick), his 29 grandchildren, and his siblings Marianne (Roger), Stephen (Jackie), Robert (Phee), Marie (Ray), Carolyn (Mick). He is preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Ralph.

David spent his life in service to others. David served an LDS Mission in Japan, in the Utah National Guard, as a Bishop in the Moroni 2^nd Ward, as the Mayor of Moroni, Utah, and most important to him, as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. David exemplified selflessness in everything he did, always putting the needs of others before his own. He touched the lives of many with his warm smile and compassionate heart, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

David worked at the Moroni Feed Company in various positions for over 45 years. He spent many years of his life as a turkey farmer. When asked why he chose to raise turkeys, he would say “I am raising kids, not turkeys!”.  

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request that you take the time to cherish moments with your loved ones, creating a lasting memory together.
