Cynthia "Cyndie" Hollingsworth Jacobson

Cynthia “Cyndie” Hollingsworth Jacobson, of Weston, passed away on April 25, 2026, in Preston, Idaho, from complications related to multiple strokes.

Cyndie was born on March 3, 1957, in Preston, Idaho, to William “Bill” Hollingsworth and Maureen Howell Hollingsworth. She was the oldest of three children and was raised in Preston in the family home on 1st East. She shared her childhood with her brothers, Jeffery W. Hollingsworth (deceased) and Michael W. Hollingsworth. In her younger years, she enjoyed riding horses, attending the Preston Rodeo, and spending time on family trips.

Cyndie attended Central Elementary, Jefferson Middle School, and Preston High School. She was known as a kind and loyal friend, always willing to listen without judgment and offer support to those around her.

Cyndie began dating Garth K. Jacobson, and the two were married on September 24, 1976. They spent 48 of their 49 years of marriage living in Weston, a community Cyndie dearly loved, where she built many lasting friendships. Together, Cyndie and Garth enjoyed camping, four-wheeling, jet skiing, boating, fishing, spotting deer, and target shooting. They also looked forward each year to their trips to Yellowstone and Disneyland.

Cyndie is survived by her husband, Garth; her brother, Michael; her in-laws Thelma Jacobson and Christy (Kim) Jones; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jeffery; her parents-in-law, Julius and LuDeen Jacobson; in-laws Blaine Jacobson and Karen Jacobson; and several cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston, Idaho. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Weston Cemetery in Weston, Idaho.
