Clyde C Bennett

Clyde C Bennett, 74, passed away October 23, 2017 at the Franklin County Transitional Care Center in Preston, Idaho.  He was born September 14, 1943 in Winder, Idaho the son of Carl Lurlene and Ila May Talbot Bennett.  He married Betty Lou Perkins on July 29, 1964 in Malad, Idaho.  They were later divorced.

He loved horse racing and owned racing horses.  He enjoyed all sports.  He loved to tease people.  He especially loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by two daughters and a son, Shelly Ann (Val) Stout of West Jordan, Utah; Karen Fallon (James Elkins) of West Jordan, Utah; Curtis (Rebecca) Bennett of West Jordan, Utah; eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; three sisters and one brother, Ellen (William) Dennis of Smithfield, Utah; Lyle T. Bennett of Farr West, Utah; Lenna Nelson of Preston, Idaho; and Letha Bennett of Vale, Oregon.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne & Dean Bennett.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 at noon at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho with Bishop Andy May conducting.  Friends may call Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
