Cheri Rindlisbacher

Cherisa (Cheri) Austin Rindlisbacher was born November 27, 1962 to Gene and Tamra Austin.  She passed away August 13th, 2020, surrounded by her family.

Cheri is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed working with the youth of the Winder Ward.

Cheri graduated from Preston High School and received a certificate from the Las Vegas School of Floral Arranging and Design.  She was a CNA and was employed at the Veterans Hospital in Pocatello, Idaho and Franklin Home Health.  She had a kind and loving heart, caring for the clients she served. Especially the elderly.  She was a favorite of many.

She married Wendel Rindlisbacher and they built their home on a bluff above the Bear River in Preston, Idaho.  She loved her home and yard, and kept them both beautiful.  She loved the mountains, lakes, rivers, ROCKS and earth.  You will find signature rock gardens with Quaking Aspen trees and flowers wherever she has lived.

Cheri loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.  She was never happier than when she was with her grandchildren.  Family traditions and holidays were important to her.

She is survived by her husband: Wendel Rindlisbacher, mother: Tamra Austin, children: Jessica (Michael) Vandygriff, Kami Pearson, Tate (Kaloni) Cole.  Grandchildren: Makia Pierce, Kenidee and Austin Vandygriff, Dawson Cole, Jaevrie, Jaleah, Jentrie Corona.  Brothers: Brent (Kim), Richard (lisa), and sister: Rebecca (Mark) Kent.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gene Austin; sister, Tammy; grandmother, Louise Layne; nephews, Chase Bosen, Ryan Austin and Easton Castro.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Winder Ward Chapel, 4400 N. 1600 W., Preston, Idaho.  There will be a visitation at the church from 11:30 to 12:30 pm.  Masks are welcomed.
