Carol Larsen

Carol Larsen

Carol Carlson Larsen passed away February 20, 2017 in North Logan, UT. She was born January 26, 1928 to Leona Hansen and Victor August Carlson. She was the proud mother of six children, two of which have passed away, Jacqueline and Bethann.

She started as a telephone operator and later began working at the blue print and reproduction room in Logan. She was a unique business woman as she purchased, remodeled, repaired and managed several rental properties. She was a devout LDS Church member with a great love and strong testimony of the gospel. She demonstrated her testimony by serving the Lord and others by attending the temple frequently. When her daughter Beth Ann was 10 years old in 1963 she had a most sacred dream of Our Savior Jesus Christ. She Dreamed that she was by The Logan Temple and Saw The Savior and she recognized him instantly. He called by by her name, but it wasn't Beth Ann (her new name that she had not received yet as she was too young to receive her temple endowment)  He sat her on his lap and very lovingly with over powering unfathomable pure perfect lovingly tenderly explained that it wasn't important to win or be the best in school or at sports or any kind of competition and that is so important to be loving kind and patient. When she awoke she shared her sacred dream with Mom and repeatedly stressed how incredible and how much amazing love the Savior had for her... Mom loved sharing this sacred dream with others and would try to share it at least once especially with strangers each time she went to the Temple to worship... and would often receive much gratitude and thanks from the recipients.. This was one of her favorite ways of sharing her testimony of the Divinity of Our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ and to bear witness of The truly Infinite Unfathomable Intimate, Eternal Perfect Pure Love and Charity of all of Deity..

Carol lived much of her early life in Richmond, UT where she developed many great and long standing relationships. Her residence changed to Cove, UT when she married Boyd Larsen September 27, 1974,  a week after Beth Ann passed away and graduated from mortal earth life. Their time together consisted of running the family farm and long motorcycle or jeep rides.

She is survived by her siblings (Christenca) Tess, Rita, Carl, Druce and Joe as well as sons James(Elaine) Miller, John(Twila-deceased) Miller, David(Mindy-deceased) Miller and Tom(Jeanette Carter) Miller. Her legacy lives on through many Grand and Great Grand Children. Carol was preceded in death by two daughters Jacqueline and Beth Ann, eight of  her siblings and parents.
