Angela Tingey Weeks, 79, a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother returned to her heavenly home on May 19, 2026. She was born on July 24, 1946, in Preston, Idaho. She is the daughter of Warren Maurice Tingey and Ruth Bastian Tingey.
Angela loved her family more than anything else. She loved all the reunions, sisters’ trips, road trips, holidays with family, and Sunday dinners. She cherished every opportunity she had to spend time with family. Aside from that, she loved The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the relationships made there, as well as the relationships she made serving as the secretary of the Eastern Idaho Rabbit Breeders Association for many years.
She was a very talented lady, who crafted many quilts, wall hangings, table runners, dish towels, etc. She made sure each of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren have several hand-made items to curl up with and always feel Angela’s love. That love will always be felt even as she has now gone on to be with her family in heaven.
She retired from Utah State University, working in the College of Family Life Building. Many will remember all the delicious treats she would make and serve at different events. She was an amazing baker.
Angela is survived by her children: Jeff (Debbie) Phillips, Cheray (Bob) Weller, Amy (Mike) Mitchell, Ryan Beckstead, Laura Whitmore, Wendell Weeks, David (Marjorie) Weeks, Lorin Weeks and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Kent (Linda) Tingey, Ruthann (Tom) Gilbert, and Shannan (Keith) Olson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Ruth Tingey, sisters Geniel Siggard and Karen Phillips, and brother Mark Tingey.
The family would like to give special thanks to the entire Oncology team at Logan Regional that helped her and the compassion they showed her, as well as the many nurses and doctors with Logan Regional ICU and Hospice that treated her with such kindness in her last days.
