Preston - Andy Zapolski, 13, passed away Monday, October 26, 2009 at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah from injuries sustained in an accident. He was born May 20, 1996 in Preston, Idaho to Shelly Egbert Zapolski.
Andy was very active and loved skateboarding. He loved riding his go-cart and dirt bike and was always spending time with friends. He enjoyed spending time with family and his close friend Albert Jensen who he called dad.
He is survived by his mother Shelly Zapolski, of Preston; a brother Tony Rigby, of Portland, OR; a sister Kelly (Eric) Brinkerhoff, of Casper, WY; grandparents Linda and Farrell Egbert of Preston; his aunt Laura Egbert, Uncles Tim and Ray Egbert, along with many other aunts, uncles, and cousins and close friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Preston 10th Ward LDS Chapel, 155 North 2nd West with Bishop Mike Andrus conducting. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the church and Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. also at the church. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Webb Funeral Home in Preston. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com.
