I so enjoyed knowing Cleda at the Heritage Home.  It was a privilege to visit and help her.  She always had a smile for you and a look of appreciation.  I know she is welcomed by those who have already passed through the veil.  We will miss her sweet spirit.

So sorry for your loss. Please know the God of all comfort cares for you and sees your tears. He promises to make the earth a beautiful paradise again and eliminate all that plagues mankind, including sickness, pain and death. I hope to be able to come to the funeral for Cleda, but in case I cannot I wanted to pay tribute to her here.  I am related to Cleda though the Housley line.  My Grandmother, Elizabeth Housley Crapo spoke of her with respect and appreciation for all the genealogy work she was doing for our family.  I really got to know her when I worked as an office assistant for Cleda and Helen Lamprecht at Ricks College for two years.  I took classes from her and appreciated her knowledge and devotion to her work.  I, too, appreciate the dedication she had for doing our Housley Family History and Temple work.  It's wonderful to be able work in this area on the groundwork she laid. She was a sweet, gentle lady who made life better for those around her.

Dear Betty and family....It was an absolute privilege to help care for Cleda. She had a beautiful quiet dignity about her and such an attitude of gratitude. I'm sure she was welcomed home with love and the words "well done thou good and faithful one!"  I will so miss her sweet smile and tender touch.  I know she so appreciated your tender care, visits and love you gave her.  So grateful for the gospel and the knowledge that we will see her again. ❤

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’d like to share some real hope with you. In Psalms 146:4 tells the condition of the dead. “His breath goeth forth, he returneth to the earth and that very day his thoughts perish.” In John 6:40+44 and Acts 24:15 the Bible promises a resurrection of our loved ones back to earth. When Jesus resurrected Lazarus from the dead, it was to earth. That was a foregleam of the future. In Psalms 37:11+29 says man will live forever on the earth in peace. That was God’s original purpose, for man to live forever in the garden of eden. God’s purpose hasn’t changed. In Isaiah 45:18 says God created the earth to be inhabited. That’s why he gave his son to die for us, John 3:16, so we could have everlasting life on earth. In Revelation 21:4 says there’ll be no more pain or death. Since there’s no pain or death in heaven, those are future conditions here on earth as God had intended. JW.org
