Bernie, I will forever hold you near and dear to my heart! You were an amazing friend. I will always cherish our long phone conversions and our trips to Pocatello.  May you rest in peace in God's loving care. Miss you!

Bernie was a great person.  Just got to know her the last few years as I would deliver mail to her, occasionally stopping to fix her mailbox or visit her in the care centers.  Considered her a friend to talk with.

Bernie was a friend, a co-worker on the annual Cinco De Mayo dinners, and at the last, a resident of the nursing home where Rod and I served in the Branch Presidency.  It was always fun to visit with her, and enjoy her sharp wit.  You always knew where you stood with Bernie, she told it like it was and I loved that about her.  I will miss seeing her there each week and visiting with her about her grandchildren.  One of my fondest memories is stopping in to visit her on my walks around Clifton when we lived there.  Once when we were travelling to Georgia, we passed her on the freeway near Grand Junction and had a fond Franklin County wave and hello!  Love you always, Bernie.  Say hi to Lynn for me!    Karen and Rodney Peterson

Bernie Balls will always be remembered as the kind and gentle woman who loved to donate her time and means to helping . . . Always helping. I got to know her from her volunteering efforts at our Elementary school (first Clifton Elementary and then H B Lee Elementary) as she would spend time reading in the Classroom with some of my own children. And then she would tell me how “great” they were when she’d see me She made me smile with her dry wit and “full report”. Thank you, Bernie!!

Bernie was a very kind and loving friend to our family.  My Mom, Loraine, thought the world of her and appreciated her kindness each and every time they were together.  Rest in peace and enjoy the love of heaven and all the family and friends that await you.
